There is a real window in which cancelling an order costs nobody anything, and a point after which a bulky carton is already on a vehicle. This page draws that line clearly for orders placed with Vellaro Parade.
Cancelling before dispatch
You may cancel free of charge at any time before dispatch — that is, before the carton is handed to the carrier. In practice that is the 1 to 3 business days we take to check, fold and box the chair. Send the request with your order number and we will pull it off the bench.
After the carton has been collected
Once the consignment is scanned into the carrier network it cannot be cancelled. You may refuse it at the door, or accept it and raise a return under our Refund and Returns Policy within the return window. A refused consignment is refunded once it has travelled back and been inspected, which on the bulky network takes longer than a parcel would.
Changing an order instead
If you only want a different colour or a different model, ask for a swap rather than a cancellation. While the order is still on the bench we can usually change it and settle the difference, which is faster than cancelling and ordering again.
When we cancel
Occasionally we cancel from our side — a frame fails the open-and-shut check, the last piece of a model turns out to be damaged, a price was published in error, or an order does not pass our fraud checks. We explain why and refund 100%. We never ship part of a set and invoice the rest later.
Cash on Delivery orders
Nothing is paid on a Cash on Delivery order until the crew hands the carton over, so cancelling before delivery costs you nothing at all. Please do cancel rather than refuse on arrival — a returned bulky consignment takes a vehicle slot another customer is waiting for.
How long the refund takes
For prepaid orders the money returns to the UPI handle or bank account it came from within 5 to 7 business days of the cancellation being confirmed, in line with the settlement timelines banks work to under Reserve Bank of India norms. We do not substitute store credit unless you ask for it.
No cancellation or restocking charge
There is no cancellation fee, no packing charge and no restocking deduction on a cancelled order, even where the carton had already been made up. What you paid comes back in full.
